Building muscle is one of the best things you can do for your health, to prevent injuries, increase your confidence & self esteem and make you stronger.

Rusty old weights, rings, semi bombed building - the perfect conditions for building muscle

Oh.

And to increase your sexiness by 1000% or more – if you are a guy OR gal.

It is also great for pushing your way through in supermarket lines, intimidating your older siblings, making everything really light and other fun side effects.


A lot of people don’t want to be a humungous muscle head who looks like a gang member that would shake you upside down for your net worth, but that doesn’t mean you can’t build some lean muscle.

When I say “lean” muscle, there is not really any difference between

“lean” muscle and any other type of muscle.

It simply means that you aren’t trying to get 25″ biceps and you are staying lean enough to have the flat, washboard abs and look great with your clothes on (but you look better with them off!).

When talking about building lean muscle, it would be hard not to describe a few celebrities that have done this to build themselves into the damn fine specimens they are.

Brad Pitt lifts weights, does calisthenics and HIIT cardio - all building strong, lean muscle and a ripped body

Brad Pitt and Cam Gigandet are examples of great lean muscle – they still have ripped, flat abs, but they have put on a bit of muscle so they aren’t extremely skinny and fragile looking (no guy wants to look “fragile“!).

Taylor Lautner is another great example – I mean, all of the girls foam at the mouth over him, and it obviously isn’t for his nice personality – it is his body!

Vin Diesel and Arnold Schwarzenegger are a couple of guys who I would deem massive muscle heads.

 

Women have voted numerous times on many different occasions that the abs are the hottest part of a guy, but biceps, chest and back also rate highly too.

It is hard to have a sexy, lean body without building some muscle – so that is why this section is here, to help you get that lean muscle.

I remember the craze when that movie Twilight came out and every girl was in love with one of the guys, then the next one came out and they all were drooling over Taylor with his freakish transformation into a well muscled guy, but still with the signature washboard six pack.


Most girls are afraid they will look like this if they build muscle - to achieve this sort of mutated body you would have to inject 10 times more steroids than anyone else, be pushing heavy weights every single day and eating 6-8 full size meals

Girls don’t often think about building muscle – with the odd freak exception that you sometimes think of when somebody mentions “female bodybuilder”.

Now, most girls would NEVER want to have big vein filled biceps and huge muscle mass so they can powerbomb their boyfriend, but for a girl to achieve even the slightest increase in muscle size is insanely difficult.

It can take years and years of lifting the heaviest weights possible and eating like a horse that got loose in the crops to even put on any noticeable muscle.

However, for girls, when you burn off LOTS of body fat, you can look anorexic and like a little twig – which isn’t what any guys find a turn on.

Miranda is a prime example of a girl who works out hard on her diet & exercise, but she also does light weights sessions and body weight training - this is the secret to getting a sexy, lean body

What guys DO find a turn on is girls with a sexy butt, a flat stomach and a “toned” body.


To burst a few bubbles here – there is no such thing as “toning“.

 

Your can only lose body fat – or put on muscle, there is no such thing as toning.

How you get that “toned” look, is by losing the body fat which is ugly and flabby, and replacing it with a little lean muscle.

Think Kim Kardashian, Megan Fox.

Miranda Kerr and Marisa Miller are another fantastic example of gals who have that toned and washboard abs look – they didn’t get this from sitting on an exercise bike all day.

They get this look from a combination of cardio workouts, weight lifting workouts and a lot different nutrition secrets.

 

Now that I have got your attention and shown you that building lean muscle mass is one of the key steps toward getting a lean, sexy, hollywood style body…

Let me show you exactly how to build that muscle, burn that body fat and get a body that will transform you from hiding in your bedroom all day long to yearning for a hot enough day you can walk around in just your swimming gear, whether you are at the beach or not!

When you want to build muscle quickly, there are only two things you must do:

1. Eat like a horse and

2. Pump heavy weights

A lot of people out there will say I have simplified this too much and claim that you need pills, potions and some secret workout to put on muscle, but this is truly all you need to do.

Obviously if you eat Twinkies and Coke by the trough load then you won’t get the results you are looking for, so there are a few things you need to know, but I guarantee that if you just take what you know now and applied it with full intensity, you would have damn good results coming your way in a hurry.

Let me give you a break down of exactly what you should do if you are wanting to know how to build muscle quickly;

 

1. Get my free guide

Okay so this is a bit bias, but in my guide I give you exactly everything you need to do in order to lose body fat and to gain muscle.

2. Have a goal

So, there is a bit of debate on the net at the moment (and always has and probably will be) about whether you can build muscle and lose body fat at the same time.

Now, you probably know that your body is not possible of adding muscle and burning fat at the same time, they are two entirely separate things.

In the course of a week you may be able to burn half a pound of fat and add a small amount of muscle, but it is damn hard work to sustain and it is quite likely you end up neither losing fat or adding muscle.

You are best to pick one and run with it – however most people say they don’t want to get fat when they put on muscle.

The main reason this happens is because someone will normally think that because they are lifting weights and putting on muscle their body will turn everything into muscle – not true.

If you eat a whole lot of shit food, you will put on fat. No matter how much weight you lift.

So if you eat like a bodybuilder should (and that is what you are on some scale – someone building or renovating their body), then you will not add fat.

So plan out what it is you want – muscle or fat loss, and stick to it.

Also remember – you can get amazing fat loss and muscle gain in just as little as a few months, at which point you may want to swap over and lose a bit of fat and start putting muscle on now you are lean.

My advice is just to pick one and hone right in on it.

 

3. Sort a plan

Packing on a bit of muscle is difficult for some people and easy for others, but no matter who you are, it is best to have a plan.

By a plan I mean a workout that is designed for muscle building, not strength, not fat loss, not sport specific training – just muscle building.

Also having an eating plan is a good idea (the word diet is a sissy word).

I like to have an eating plan when I am trying for a specific goal, but I have found the best way to stick to a plan is to only buy food that is on your plan, and buy a lot of it.

You can go down the road of counting calories etc, and sometimes I do advise that, but when you are wanting to put on muscle you should be eating what you normally do PLUS a couple of protein drinks a day and maybe another meal.

It is hard work being such a food demolisher, but this is how the big players do it. See that bouncer on the door of the night club who looks like Duke Nukem himself… I bet he doesn’t skimp on the meals.

 4. Don’t be a pussy

I am not sure how to put this delicately, but don’t be such a damn cry baby.

I see it all over the place.

*Babyish annoying voice*

“How many reps of these do I do and how long do I hold at the top, what is the contraction time, should I do dropsets, supersets, forced reps or should I start crying?”

Okay, maybe that’s a bit far.

But so many people get held up on all the tiny little details when they are trying to achieve a fitness goal and the stuff around on the internet all day trying to find an answer to an irrelevant question.

Sure, Jay Cutler may need to do something a little exotic every once and a while to change up his routine because he is such a freak showish monster that his body adapts to a workout routine very quickly.

But unless you are a competitive bodybuilder or have been pushing weights for a few years solidly, just get in the gym and do the workout and stop whining about the scrawny details.
