Do Carbohydrates Help To Burn Fat?

Carbs have their place. Just like protein and essential fats have their place.

The place of carbs is mainly to give us energy to live, workout and do the things us crazy humans do. The amount of carbs we take in can have a huge effect on how much fat we burn, but it does not determine it entirely.

Because cabs are our main fuel for energy, we need to think about when the best time would be to consume them. You should always start your day with a big helping of carbs such as oats. This is what I do and I swear I am taking a bowl of oats to Heaven with me. I feel like I have a constant supply of energy for about 4 hours after I have a good helping of oats, I also have frozen berries on the top to give it that wee bit of fruitiness. Not that I need anymore fruitiness.

You should also spread you carbs throughout the day so you are eating less each meal. For example, if I eat a massive plate of white potatoes before bed, I am pretty much asking to put on weight. For meals after 10am they should start progressively having less carbs. This is because you use the most energy before night time, so you don’t want to fuel the furnace at night, but first thing in the morning.

Of course we need carbs, I don’t get all these eratic diets that exclude carbs or proteins or fats, it just doesn’t make sense.

Here’s some homework. Email a body builder and ask him (or her!) if they are on a low carb diet. I will eat my left arm if they say they are. Carbs are just such a huge part of our fuel that there is no way we can do without them. But as I say – no porridge before bed!

What Is The Best Way To Remove Abdominal Fat?

The best way to remove abdominal fat is with a filleting knife, this will enable you to access the muscle which tastes fantastic.

This is my hunting blog… Yes? No?

Oh right.

The best way to remove abdominal fat has got to be what I class as extreme cardio.

Here are a few examples of workouts that have done wonders for me and anybody else who has given them the chance to work, good things sometimes don’t happen overnight my fellow humans.

  1. Boxing – as you probably have guessed by now I am quite into martial arts and kickboxing. I have found that the workouts provided by these activites are nothing short of gut wrenching. They leave you so buggered afterward that driving home feels like a half marathon (I do drive a 73 GM station wagon, that probably doesn’t help). If you don’t want to join up to a burly boxing gym, just buy a boxing bag or beat up a door frame. Check out youtube for some tips on how to stand and how to move while boxing and you’re away laughing.
  2. Sprints/HIIT – sprints are just what they say. HIIT is short for High Intensity Interval Training. This pretty much means that you would go for a run/bike/row/whatever and go hardcore for 30 seconds to a minute and then take it easy for a minute or two, then ramp the pace back up. This does amazing things to belly fat… Like making it disappear!
  3. Resistance training – weights, bodyweight workouts, cable workouts, dumbbell, barbell… They all pretty much do the same thing, they break your body down so your body has to repair itself… Bigger, stronger and faster. Not so easy to get big body builders muscles though, so don’t worry if you don’t want to look like The Incredible Bulk – it won’t happen. Especially to the ladies – there is not a chance in hell that you will bulk up – you would have to go on a special body building diet and workout – even then it would be very hard for 95% of females to bulk up.

Hope you got a few good ideas. Now road rage all the way to the gym and start hitting it like it owes you money.

How To Burn Fat Without Losing Weight

- This is how to really lose weight.

When somebody tells you that they lost 10lbs in a week, chances are very good that most of it was muscle and water weight, and maybe a pound of fat, perhaps two if they are lucky.

There is a huge difference between losing weight and losing fat – remember that.

Losing weight is just that, losing weight. It doesn’t  matter where it comes from, it is just weight loss.

However fat loss is just that, losing fat.

Losing fat is the hard one, any idiot can stop drinking water for a few days and lose 10lbs, but the ironic thing is that they will look like crap, feel sick and maybe look a little fatter because they are losing muscle and not fat! Apart from scamming your way into a lower weight class for MMA or wrestling or something I don’t understand why anybody would do this!

It is unsustainable and extremely dangerous to your health, not to mention your physical appearance, and after all, isn’t that the elusive holy grail? A great figure?

The way to burn fat without losing weight is to eat plenty of good food and exercise to get rid of body fat. Your nutrition should consist of mostly natural and “one ingredient foods” . Things such as vegetables, fruit, eggs, meats etc are fantastic at burning the extra fat!

No self respecting guy or girl should sink to the levels of losing muscle or water weight, just do it once and do it right and you will never have to worry about fat loss again!
