The best way to lose weight I have found is to do something that challenges you.
If you do something that you find easy or only mildly stimulating, then your body will not respond in any way except to tell you that “this is easy, lets just keep it at this”.
You do not want to listen to your mind, it will play all sorts of shenanigans on you to try and tip you off the stairway to success.
You must take control over the reigns of your mind and force it to do what you know is good for it.

Schedule a time into your schedule, and I don’t give a damn how busy you proclaim to be.
If you have to for go sipping a latte and meandering around town on your 1 hour lunch break, so be it.
Nothing ever came without a little sacrifice.
Now Plan what you are going to do on this first bout of exercise, my advice would be to keep the first few bouts very simple, not easy, but simple.
All too often people get caught up in these wildly flamboyant exercise routines that are doing nothing but stimulating your mind to try and remember how on earth to do a “natural glute ham raise”.
Just go running or walking at a pace that will challenge you and work up a bit of a sweat, whatever you do, do something.
I guarantee that if you go running or fast walking for 4-6 days a week you will start to look and feel better, then you can progress to something a little more expert level to really get you kick started.

This is interesting…I’d like to know what you would advise in my situation. My goal is to shed about 15 pounds in the next couple of months. But there are so many different “systems” out there and I have no idea which one to trust. Can somebody point me towards a good plan for burning fat and packing on muscle?

I’m working on getting six pack abs right now and it’s pretty challenging. Do you have some suggestions as far as a good six pack abs diet? My trainer says that egg whites, oatmeal, broccoli, blueberries and salmon are all important to include in your diet…are there any other foods I should include?
