This article will give you a quick start method to a low body fat work out that will have you looking damn good in 60 days. All it takes is a little self discipline to tell yourself: “it is only for 60 days, after this I can go back to whatever else I was doing if I choose”. For the first few days your body will fight you with every excuse, circumstance or discomfort that it will try and trick you into giving up, this is because you are forcing adaption, and it does not come easy.

::::

Stick with it. Most people have given up before day 4, if you can get to two weeks, the force will be much less, and after a month, the new habit will be fully ingrained into you.

Do not be one of the ones who gives up on, that will nead you to a sub par life living far below your truest potential.

::::

1. Draw up a plan of your workout, include a lot of body weight exercises if you are just starting out such as press ups, crunches, dips, chin ups/pull ups, squats, lunges, burpees, jumping jacks etc, if you go on YouTube and search for any of these, you will get a good lesson on how to do them.

Make the list about 7-8 long for starters and try go through it twice, doing as many sets of each exercise as you can.

You should incorporate some intense (according to your level of fitness) cardio. If you are quite overweight, this may just be going for a walk up and down some stairs until you are sweating like mad, if you are a young female or male who just has a little bit of excess body fat to get rid of, then you should be running, hard and fast. No pain, no gain… Remember that. Nothing comes for free…

2. Schedule a time to do it. This one is the money shot people. Failing to plan is planning to fail. Always plan your work people.

3. Do it! Commit to doing it, it should only take you about half an hour! Stretch a wee bit before hand and away you go.

4. Congratulate yourself after you do it the first few times. Reward yourself with a coffee in town, buy a book or spend a bit of time fully relaxing with family (is that an oxymoron?) or meditating. Your body will start doing things that naturally feel good, so make it as easy as possible for your body to feel good about doing new habits.

It seems that shakes and smoothies are the norm in weight loss now, so what is the most effective weight loss shake, how much are they and do you have to buy them?

Shakes and smoothies are heavily promoted by massive corporations now, so does that mean that they actually help you to lose weight? Or are they just another fad that you should ignore and get back to the gym?

::::

Buying shakes, supplements, powders, pills and other weight loss paraphernalia can soon take its toll on you, mentally, and not to even get started on financially!

The shakes promoted by certain weight loss companies are crazily expensive for just one serving… How these people justify charging so much for a simple shake that can be whipped up in you own home is beyond me.

This is one case where we pay for something, then feel immediately ripped off after it.

Being overweight and out of shape is stressful enough, let alone actually having to deal with the problem. There is so much pressure around you to take massive action but you are just blown away by the amount of idiots out there proclaiming they are the messiah of weight loss products and everybody else is a liar.

Well I think you and I both know, there is no lost prophet of body sculpting, only good old fashioned clean eating and working out. Anybody who tells you that you can avoid this phase is lying straight to you, whether it is a sales person, a website, an infomercial or otherwise.

::::

All that shakes or smoothies do is offer nutrients to your body in a different format to food, comparable to a CD versus a Floppy Disk.

It has been stated by many, and disputed by many, that when you take in a source of food in a liquid form it is easier for your body to digest, therefore you get more nutritional value from it. It is not my job to support this view from either side, just to figure out what you will from this paradigm.

I believe that shakes are a great way to get in a quick meal without having to cook, sit and eat. Especially straight after a workout or when you are in a hurry, however I do not believe that you should banish “food” to the dark ages either.

One to two shakes a day is a good number.

::::

Now, how much do these shakes cost?

Well, I sell them and they are only $9.97 per shake.

Jokes.

I am also a strong believer that you should make your own shakes, as you never quite know what somebody else is sticking into your milkshake..

My favorite recipe is:

  • 1 scoop of frozen berries
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 banana
  • 2-3 eggs
  • 1 scoop of protein powder

Mix it all up in a blender and drink it!

Feel free to experiment, I won’t sue ya.

A lot of people starting out ask the question, How Many Calories Should You Eat To Lose Weight?

While this may be a start in the right direction, perhaps it is the wrong question.

The first question you should be asking yourself is this:

Do I want to become good at counting calories and do this for the rest of my life?

Or:

Do I want to know how to lose weight, look good, and not worry about having to count every damn calorie?

In this article I will show you why you don’t have to count calories (yessss!), why people say you should count calories, and why they are not quite as important as some people might have you believe.

::::

If you have been told to count calories to lose weight, well, you should probably be thinking, why are there so many other people who don’t count calories yet they are fit and sexy?

There are a lot of people out there who will tell you to count calories, many for different reasons. Some will want you to purchase their calorie counting program, “low-calorie” food, “low calorie” shakes or meal replacements and so on.

Now these goods may not necessarily be straight from Satan, however there are far easier, simpler and more fun ways to lose weight.

Weight loss is difficult enough without having to throw some penny pinching scheme of counting calories in there. You might as well start counting all the leaves that fall on your drive before you pick them up.

::::

I have found that the best way that people lose weight is by listening to their biological-feedback. Bio-feedback is simply listening to what your body is telling you is right. The symptoms of being overweight, tired and grumpy for example, indicate something is wrong with you.

You may be overeating the wrong type of foods, under exercising or you may be one of the extremely rare people who has a disease that makes them over eat.

By listening to your bio-feedback I mean listening to the results that your body gives you. If you get a fitness program and start following the workouts and the nutrition, your weight will naturally come off, without calorie counting.

Calorie counting has its place. If you are in the final stages of cutting your body fat% down for a body building competition then yes, you have to count calories, but not just to start losing weight and look toned, sexy and slim.

Realize this: What you eat is of far more importance than how many calories you eat.

By this I mean that you could eat fatty hamburgers and fries within your calorie range and still get fatter, or you could over eat like crazy of fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, lean meats and some dairy and you would probably lose weight.

::::

Knowing this now, you need to take action. Whether you pay a fitness trainer, get a gym membership or start working out from what you know, you will get the same results.

However if you purchase one of the best fitness programs available on the internet, you get results guaranteed, the real truth, heaps of workouts, meal plans, nutrition guides, ab workouts, whole body muscle building workouts and unlimited email support

Most programs come at a fraction of the cost of getting a personal trainer for one session, let alone a year or two!

I have certainly found that my purchase of fitness programmes has paid off well (only buy one and start working on it like mad)

Also realize this: He who takes no action or makes no changes… Stays the same.

Who wants to stay the same? Honestly?

Until next time
